On a wet day like today it's lovely to look back to enjoy the sunshine of the beginning of the month and a really special day at the Royal Chase Hotel.
Guess who's leg this is - showing the ravages I guess of a long professional career and possibly a couple of operations. It's always interesting to see the scarring that players incurr.

Sometimes it can be difficult for a photographer to engage with an older child, who perhaps is less than enthralled with the idea of being the subject of a photo session. We always look to create "cool" images that they will love as a way to bring them onside.
Photographing Children has particular challenges, but the images that we can create whilst they are at play can be stunning and make the effort well worthwhile.
Sometimes the moments when they are lost in the simple joys of playing and thus unaware of the camera are the ones in which we can capture their true selves.
A moment of horseplay for today's picture of the day
as Chelsea Captain John Terry playfully nibbles the ear of club journalist Neil Barnett as he lays on the Stamford Bridge pitch at a recent training session
I was priviledged enough to be able to photograph Sarah & John's wedding at the Royal Chase Hotel in Enfield on Friday.
The weather, for October couldn't have been more kind and Sarah made a beautiful bride. However she does set a new "record" in being the first bride I've seen to be on Facebook half an hour before walking down the aisle!
The whole day was lovely, with several witty touches and I had a blast photographing it all. Here's a few early samples of their special day.
Have a great honeymoon guys and my very best wishes for a long and happy marriage!
Back to the Mighty Blues today for our picture of the day. Joe Cole, here seen recovering from his long term injury demonstrates he's lost none of the close control skills that have brought him to the top of the modern game.
Here's a sneaky preview of a few images from our recent portrait session with a lovely local family. I understand that Dad's in line for a special 40th Birthday present!
We set up the lights and backdrop in their dining room and created a studio space for a series of high key portraits. The dog was keen to get involved too!
Following this we were able to set up outside for a few shots as the sun began to set.
I had an absolute blast taking these and really enjoyed meeting the whole family. One of the things that I love about this job is the ability to make a connection with those I photograph and find out a little about them and this was certainly true this time.
I'll have the full set ready shortly - there's lots more to choose from! In the meantime enjoy a sample below:
Today's image comes from a recent wedding and shows a detail in the church that particularly caught my eye.
I've always got my eye open looking for those small details that really help remember a special wedding and it's lovely to find them and be able to catch them as I have here.
